Save the Date! The ComedyCity 26.2-Hour Comedy Marathon is coming up on Friday & Saturday, March 30 & 31. Sorta like a real marathon… only instead of miles, it’s 26.2 hours of non-stop improv, sketches, songs, jokes, games and just plain fun. We start at 7:30pm on Friday night and go straight through until about 11:30pm on Saturday night.
It’s the Funniest Marathon You’ll Never Run, and we’re raising money for two wonderful local children’s cancer charities – The Angel Fund and Families of Children with Cancer.
Click Here to visit the Marathon website and get all the details. And, if you or anyone you know is interested in being a sponsor or donating to the raffle, all the important details are there as well.
Oh, and you’re going to want to start training your laugh muscles now – you don’t want to cramp up.
Please note: Coupons and passes
will not be accepted this weekend.

“Late Night Prime Time” is our long form improv show. Rather than short bursts of improv comedy, this show features longer scenes and character development. The show runs 30-45 minutes.
The performers will take three suggestions from the audience, perform scenes based on those suggestions, and then allow the audience to choose which of those scenes they want to see extended for the rest of the show!
Shows start about 11:15pm – after ComedyCity’s late show wraps up.
ComedyCity would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the planners, players, fans and sponsors for making the 2011 26.2-Hour Comedy Marathon a huge success. We raised over $4,500 for the Angel Fund & Families of Children with Cancer and had some of the funniest, most entertaining shows in our history.

When it comes to charity stuff, you don’t always get to put a face with where your money is going. Our own Peter Blavat took some time to interview representatives of both local children’s cancer charities that we are raising money for, as well as the Mills family, who have directly benefitted from the generosity of these wonderful organizations.
In the five years we’ve been working with the Angel Fund and Families of Children with Cancer, we’ve raised over $20,000 with the generous help and support of our fans. Please consider attending, donating and laughing in the face of this crummy disease.
